About Designer
Lisa Sheá a native of Louisville, KY was named at the last minute after her mother heard it on a popular soap opera “As The World Turns”. While her parents Judith and Isiah Mullins Jr. were anticipating the birth of a son Lisa Sheá was born on a cold day in December. She was the last of four daughters.
She attended a local high school and then completed her bachelors degree in 2005 at McKendree University majoring in Business Administration. Later receiving her Master in HR Management.
Always aware of the latest fashion trends, Lisa Sheá’s co-workers and students (while working for Jefferson County Public Schools) would always comment on her wardrobe and accessories. She was always different and refreshing.
One of the things she enjoyed as a hobby was customizing shoes for herself. She never dreamed this would turn into something much larger than her, until late one evening when her first handmade custom shoe was literally taken off her foot. The shoe dazzled women and girls alike and that night in September of 2011 “Lisa Sheá Custom Shoes” was born. Lisa Sheá admits that she had been customizing shoes for herself, but after such a positive and overwhelming response to her creative designs, Lisa Sheá immediately began to take orders. Lisa Sheá is now living her dream and loving her life sharing her designs with all of her customers.
Lisa Sheá’s have expanded beyond our domestic borders into London, England, Sydney, Australia, Hawaii and Nigeria, Africa with a request to offer her shoes in Columbia, South America.
Lisa Sheá is married to her man of all of dreams, James Hodge. She has two children, Kaitlyn and Caleb and is a “Mimi” (grandmother) to a handsome grandson Randall Keith and beautiful granddaughter Ja’Kayla Nicole. She also has three fabulous bonus children, Phillip, Jalen and Madison.

Lisa Sheá Custom Shoes and Accessories, LLC. specializes in adding a unique and individualized sense of glamour to everyday life. Founded in September 2011, Lisa Sheá began designing shoes out of frustration. Finding the perfect shoe that expressed her individuality and style became increasingly harder each year. She decided to take matters in her own hands, literally, and decided to customize her own shoes.
Feeling liberated and enjoying her new fashion discovery, Lisa Shea’ hand crafted 8 pairs for herself that received rave reviews at each event and many compliments on Facebook. Until one night, Treva, a dear family friend, asked her to take her shoe off at a birthday celebration and began to pass it around the room. After several requests for orders and business cards, Lisa Sheá Custom Shoes was born.
Lisa Sheá customizes for any occasion. Weddings, birthdays, pageant, proms, special events and anytime you just want to be the center of attention.
